Stan Lee is at it again.  The famed comic book creator has teamed up with MassCanvass to host a t-shirt design challenge.  Starting today, t-shirt designers can create their own unique custom t-shirt design based around the theme “World of Heroes” and submit their entries by November 20, 2011.  The prizes at stake are pretty neat, even for non-comic book geeks: $1000 to the top 5 winners and a limited edition, hand numbered printing of your winning design.

What does the theme “World of Heroes” mean?  It can mean any person, thing , or depiction related to heroes.  It could be a heroic depiction of a single mom or a superhero design.  The real issue behind the challenge is identifying the heroic as you see it.  In his video announcing the challenge, Lee states “the word ‘hero’ can mean different things to different people, so be as creative as you can!”  [Read more...]
